Invented by Swiss musicians Jonathan Fiorentini and Ernesto Londino, Pl8ty is a versatile Bluetooth speaker with a taste of nostalgia, resembling the iconic Sony Walkman.
Pl8ty’s design is inspired by the legendary cassette players of the 80’s, combined with the latest technological advancements found in modern day audio devices, which makes it a must-have for anyone who grew up in the 80’s, or music-lovers who want to make a bold fashion statement.
To use Pl8ty, pop open the front lid, place your smart phone inside with the music app on, close the lid, and then press the play button. The device’s buttons also control fast-forward, rewind, and pause, while a wheel controls the volume.
Pl8ty can be enjoyed via the built-in stereo speaker or by plugging your favorite headphones into the 3.5-mm output jack. An integrated clip lets you wear Pl8ty on your belt, duffel bag, backpack or waistband. It also features an input aux jack, and a USB-C port for charging the 3,200-mAh lithium-ion battery.
