Rigid, single speed off-road model is part of Harley-bred label’s Select Series.
The second in its limited-edition Select Series of ebikes, Serial 1 announced the new Bash/MTN, a rigid, single speed off-road model built on the Harley-Davidson-developed brand’s Mosh/CTY model. The Bash/MTN will be limited to a run of 1,050 bikes—525 for the US market, and 525 for Europe.
The limited-edition bike was inspired by a Serial 1 engineer’s personal build, according to the company.
Finished in a Yucca Tan paint with graffiti-style graphics, the Bash/MTN has pedal assist up to 20 mph (25 kph/15.5 mph for the EU) powered by the Mosh/CTY’s Brose S Mag mid-motor (90Nm peak torque) with four assist levels and a 529Wh integrated, removable battery. Also like the Mosh/CTY, it has a Gates Carbon Drive belt drive incorporated into a single-gear drivetrain.
Additional features include internal frame routing for brake lines and electrical wiring, integrated LED lights front and rear, an additional illuminated headtube light, the Suntour suspension seat post with 50 millimeters of travel, 27.5-inch x 35-millimeter-wide alloy rims, and rear-mounted adjustable-length kickstand.
