As with most RC toys, mishaps are going to happen. If you get caught up in the excitement and fly the Vector out of range? No problem. Vector automatically glides to a soft landing if you accidentally lose connection. It also auto-beeps to help you find it, if it lands out of sight. Just follow the sound.
