Cat just make things better, Period!
You can’t help but notice CAT products, you just can’t! you drive by them everyday on your way to and from work. The backhoes are busy working on city easements’. The excavators are prepping lots for new buildings and you see their Dozers’ and loaders’ everywhere you go doing something in the name of progress. CAT puts the first piece of equipment on most any job, other than maybe a transit and a Grade Rod. At the end of the jobs CAT equipment will still be there with their Rollers to compact asphalt for the drives, roadways and parking lots. And now…
You’re going to be staring across the street watching your neighbor run circles around the rest of the neighborhood with a black & yellow mower that resembles the CAT machines that have been subliminally emblazoned in your minds your entire lifetime. That is, if you have a smart neighbor! The CAT 60V 21″ Self Propelled Lawnmower is a beast! What CAT has basically done is taken new technology attempted by their top competitors, redesigned it and perfected it. In doing so CAT has catapulted themselves into a “two competitor race” for the best Lithium Ion battery powered Lawncare system of 2023.
The CAT system is anchored with a solo pack 60 V battery (Just one) compared to its top competitors four 20V batteries. The competitors 80V Mower (EC 2022 Winner) is impressive by all means as I have used it this past year, but it has no answer for what I’m about to share with you, at least not yet. The CAT mower has a 2nd slot for another 60V that runs in conjunction with the original battery! The deck height operation of the CAT’s Lawnmower has been improved over its competitor also. The CAT offers 7 levels of detailed blade height positions whereas it’s competition sort of makes you guess at it. The CAT also has a safety lock to help stop unwarranted use of the Lawnmower while you’re enjoying a refreshment. I’m just wondering what neighbor is going to rush over, grab the mower and offer to do my back yard first? Justin or Andrew? ;0)
This Cat mower is powered by a high-efficiency brushless motor that comes equipped with speed adjustment so that us old guys can speed it up a little! The power source is a 60V 5.0Ah Max lithium-ion battery (or two if you so choose) capable of cutting my corner lot and my neighbors front and side yards before running out of charge. It’s a “Smart Mower” that uses what CAT calls “Torque Logic” to increase the speed of rotation as grass thickens. I like the Torque Logic concept but would like to see an over-ride for this option that would allow you to cut the entire lawn at max torque power. The CAT 60V 21″ Deck Self Propelled Lawnmower, in all honestly, has simply done it better than the “other” top competitor at this point. It’s the best battery powered Lawnmower on the market folks. Not by much but it is!
