NextBlower has introduced the Omni5, a five-channel dash camera system designed to provide comprehensive, all-around video coverage for everyday driving and vehicle security.
The Omni5 is built to address a common limitation in traditional dash cameras, which typically capture only one or two angles. By using a five-channel system, the device records multiple viewpoints simultaneously, including the front, rear, interior, and both sides of a vehicle. This expanded coverage is intended to reduce blind spots and provide more complete visual documentation in the event of accidents or incidents.
The system supports high-resolution recording, including 4K video, and uses loop recording to continuously capture footage while automatically overwriting older files when storage is full. A built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions and locks important footage to prevent it from being deleted. In addition to recording while driving, the Omni5 includes parking monitoring features designed to protect vehicles when they are unattended. Motion detection and automatic wake functions allow the camera to begin recording when movement or impact is detected, providing an added layer of security.
The Omni5 features a compact display of approximately 3.16 inches and supports storage capacities up to 128GB. It is designed to operate over a wide temperature range, from cold to hot environments, making it suitable for year-round use in different climates. The device also incorporates smart connectivity through a mobile app, allowing users to view live footage, download recordings, and adjust settings remotely. Built-in Wi-Fi enables quick access to video files without needing to remove storage cards.
The product is positioned for everyday drivers seeking enhanced visibility, as well as rideshare operators and families who want additional interior and exterior monitoring.
