The Hydro Go vs The Energizer Bunny
The Look: I don’t know who would win the endurance race but it would be close! The Sway Fire Flame Hydro Go is a compact 3″x3′”7″ Bluetooth Speaker with what looks like two midi’s on one side with a woofer on the back side. The midi’s are encompassed by LED’s that can change to 3 primary color variants of a Green-Blue/2 Multi colors/ and Purple-Raspberry with the push of a button. I’m noticing it actually has one light pattern that traces the beat of the music. It’s a sleek speaker that shows some character. The LED’s will definitely add to the aura of any gathering.
The Sound: It Jams! Definitely Jams! With the woofer facing opposite of the midi’s you’ll get a little more kick if you place the speaker a few inches from a wall. There’s nothing lacking sound wise either.
Range: The Bluetooth version 5.3 allows true TWS pairing and has a range of 18 meters. Plenty of distance to move around at parties if you’re the one supplying the tunes.
Durability: This is a key element to any bluetooth speaker. Will it endure? The case is made of a hard plastic shell with metal speaker covers. It’s pill shaped appearance should bode well against drops. Plus, the fact you can drop it in your fish tank for thirty minutes, load in “Joy To The World” and entertain your guppies due to its IPX7 rating, makes it a great speaker to use in any environment!
Verdict: The Fire Flame Hydro Go is a well built, sweet sounding, Bluetooth speaker with great connectivity that livens’ up any outing with it’s Crisp sound and Dancing LED’s. It’s a solid choice for mid size gatherings inside or out along with being a great room speaker if you’re just kicking back listening to tunes.
