It’s about time we get to celebrate “Us!” :0)

“We’re taking what they’re giving because we’re working for a living”_ Huey Lewis

Let’s go there! The legendary Working for a Living Intro! Amazing!
For the ladies. A 1984 Grammy gem delivered by the “Queen of Techno”, Donna Summer. She was a fantastic person who lives on through her daughter Amanda who is the better half ( Sorry Abner :0) of a duet by the name “Johnnyswim.”
Some of you go the extra mile, making overtime to keep the wolves away. Thank you for doing all you can to stay afloat instead of depending on others to carry you in life. Putting yourselves in a position to help others is the greatest reward you will ever come to know in life. You are truly the best of all of us!
For the “Heart of America” and their countless hours on the road making sure the rest of us have all we need, Thank you so much!
Another one for the ladies. No one worked harder or suffered more! One in a billion!
For all of the homemakers who are so undervalued and overworked. The role you play is diminishing, making what you do so much more vital for the future of our Country. It’s your children who will lead us into the future. By sharing the wisdom, love, compassion, empathy, strength, and patience that you have shared with them throughout life they will grow to be amazing leaders. Not all children are blessed with this opportunity and we know you pick up the slack with the neighborhood children also. You’re that special and truly amazing. GOD bless you all.
For all of those “long in the tooth” who put the time in, Thank you for your backs and your diligence. You’ve set the standard and been a great example for the generations to come.
We all stare out the window from time to time! Even me! :0) When you come back to us get your ass in gear and do what you do! Haha
4 a.m. sure does come early. Many years of “framing” in Arizona taught me this. Thanks to all the blue-collar workers whose sweat, blood, and tears have given us the roads, food, homes, power, and damn near every convenience we take for granted every day. Thank You.
This is the ‘Anthem” for every red-blooded human being from around the world that reminds us that no matter where we are in life or what we do, we can work through those times by adhering to Ronnie’s simple outlook on life. Have a fantastically great Labor Day! _SGB
