The X-Tech Ultimate Executive Chair is a masterpiece of sorts in all that it offers. The first thing I want to share is the efficiency of Dynamic Variable Lumbar Support (DVL). This feature may be the most underrated feature on the chair as it competes with so many other dynamic features. The DVL adjusts to your every movement giving you just the right amount of lower back support to alleviate any strain you may have. It’s kind of like having a loved one gently placing their hand on the small of your back as you’re standing in the back of a church service! :0) It’s that soft-of-a-touch experience, but one that provides the utmost comfort throughout the work day.
Who doesn’t like a massage? :0) The ELEMAX Cooling, heat & massage feature is simply the bomb! There are several settings for the massage feature and the cooling and heat are both highly efficient. The ELEMAX system is a breeze to use as you can simply reach the controls from a seated position and browse through the options with the push of the buttons. It features like this that hog the limelight from the DVL! :0)

Let’s talk about the FS 360 rotational arms for a second. When I first started using the chair the functionality of these arms seemed chintzy. The height adjustment for the arms are a perfect design (Click the button and slide up or down) but the lateral rotation seemed to be a bit loose. The first few times I got up from the chair I realized their genius! The arms have about a 5-7 degree swing in or out as they adjust to what you are doing! If you’re typing they will swing in a tad to give you more support and when you exit the chair they will swing out slightly giving you more room for the exit. If you want, you can click them inward even further while working (I do this) as it provides great stability and support for your arms while typing. The fact that you can also advance them both forward or back on a lateral plane ices them as invaluable and an elite function of the X-Tech Ultimate Executive Chair. After using these arms I could never see myself going back to a fixed arm.
Final Thoughts: Other than a “set it and forget it” approach to the headrest (It’s a tad hard to adjust) and the fact that they haven’t added a smart app or remote for the ELEMAX features, the X-Tech Ultimate Executive Chair is a work of perfection.
